BBC has just unveiled a look at the latest and thirteenth incarnation of Doctor Who, and she’s breaking new ground.
The BBC unveiled Jodie Whittaker as the 13th (and first female) star of Doctor Who
Trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Whittaker trod the Boards at Shakespeare’s Globe, the National Theatre, the Royal Court and Almeida theatres, Whitaker brings a strong acting resume to the role of the 13th Doctor.
As well as wowing in Broadchurch – where one of her co-stars was, of course, 10th Doctor David Tennant – she is also known for Britflick sci-fi comedy Attack The Block.
